Draining the Democrat Party
An Exodus of Conscience is Underway. Hundreds of thousands are Posting videos with their personal Walk Away Stories
I see each of the #Walkaway videos below as emblematic of the seachange the Walkaway movement is bringing about. All three of these individuals site the value and importance of independent thinking as being a strong motivator. Independent thinking, as we know, is the hallmark of people one finds in the grassroots conservative movement. This new movement is growing so fast that it may well affect the fortunes of the Dems in the Midterm Elections.
This last video is by Brandon Straka, the man who started the #WalkAway movement. He delivers a message directly to conservatives. He is asking us to make videos, to tell our stories. Heed his words! This is history calling. This is an opportunity to be personally brave, to put yourself out there. This time, there is no doubt we can make a huge difference. We will be filling a horrible vacuum with something very good.
Exposure of leftist propaganda techniques finally began very early in President Trump's presidential campaign. At his very first press conference, Univision anchor Jorge Ramos tried to commandeer the floor. When Trump called on one reporter, Ramos tried to grab the floor by talking over Trump. Trump told him it wasn't his turn, and to sit down, but Ramos did not do that. He kept on talking. He was taking over the press conference.
Ramos didn't even have a question. His purpose, clearly, was to disrupt the presser, not ask a question. He ranted, saying Trump had no right to remove illegal aliens. It was an effort to insult and diminish candidate Trump. This simple, obvious, bullying tactic had always worked in the past. Consequences were never brought to bear, when this happened. And it happened a LOT. That's because many conservative speakers, or leaders of targeted institutions, were embarrassed and shocked by the affront, or they were afraid to get embroiled in a melee in front of the cameras of a hostile press.
Not so, Trump. When Ramos failed to comply, after he had asked him to sit down about five times, Trump signaled security to assist Ramos out of the room. It all happened quietly. The guard was gentle, but firm. Ramos, quite correctly, was silenced. His gambit failed. He was removed.
As a conservative activist, watching the increasingly blatant and visible corruption in both major parties, I've long believed that a generalized awakening of the vast American public was inevitable. The wait has been so long, however, that I have repeatedly questioned my own logic.
Exposure of the corruption was the answer. I knew it. But how to expose it? Too few conservatives are typically willing to stick their necks out--either from fear of retribution from the potentially violent Left, or because it is deeply ingrained in us to mind our own business, be polite, not make waves. Fortunately, that is finally changing, too.
But, when it finally began, it was Trump who did it. On my television screen, I saw the first crashing wave of a huge paradigm shift land on a globalist footsoldier named Jorge Ramos, while he was in the act of trying to destroy Trump's first campaign press conference.
That was the very first time I saw consequences being delivered when a leftist used bullying in public, in an attempt to intimidate. Nowadays, of course, we are seeing other people joining Trump in delivering consequences, most visibly, at the moment, in the #Walkaway movement. Who, more than the Democrat Party, deserves this result? Any political party that acts as though it sees its voters as people to be used, not served, deserves to lose those members. That is what we finally can see happening, in our beleaguered country. It is the beginning of a huge cleansing of America. And America needs cleansing.
We were told
